Westville Schools will let school out at 1:15 tomorrow due to the inclement weather coming in tomorrow. We wanted to get notice out tonight so arrangements can be made for your child. Wednesday will be a Distance Learning day as scheduled for all students.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the Balfour representative postponed their visit until Friday, Jan. 27. It will be 12-2 pm in the Library. Parents are invited to come. They need to check in at the Central office before going to the library.
Westville Public School recently was awarded a $349,361 Stronger Connections Grant through the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Input from students, staff, parents, and community members was utilized to drive the grant design. Funding from the grant will support measures to harden the perimeter, add a mental health professional, and provide training for intruder preparedness.
The Junior High will play two games tonight, January 23rd, at Keys. The 7th and 8th girls will play together at 4:30 followed by the 7th and 8th boys.

Wednesday, January 18th all sophomores will attend the ICTC Tech Fest. All 10th grade students will load the buses at @ 8:15 am on Yellowjacket St. Students who drive or get dropped off will need to arrive at school no later than 8:10. This is for 10th grade only.
Due to an administrator over sight, on the school calendar, Westville Public Schools WILL be closed on Monday, January 16th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr day. We deeply apologize for this oversight and any inconvenience.
The varsity basketball game with Oktaha Friday, January 13, will start at 6:30 pm. The boys will be playing first due to Oktaha's homecoming.

Westville recently was awarded an art grant by the Oklahoma Arts Council. This grant will allow Westville Learning Academy students to participate in a hands-on introductory program at the Tulsa Glassblowing School along with glass etching activities. Students will hold an Art Exhibit at the end of the program to showcase their art products for parents. Thank you National Endowment for the Arts and Oklahoma Arts Council for your generous support.
