Election Day is tomorrow!!!! We have several elections in the run-off election that deserve a great voter turnout! The State Superintendent of Public Instruction is in the ballot plus our Oklahoma Senate District 4 race is on the ballot as well. We also have a US Representative and US Senate race that will be decided. Please do your research on the best possible candidate because it is very important. Get out and exercise your constitutional right to vote!
Our 3rd and 4th graders got to enjoy the Orange Power Produce Project Mobile Market today! They each got $12 'veggie bucks' to spend on produce provided by the market. Thank you to the following community partners for sponsoring this: Oklahoma State Cooperative Extension Service, TSET Healthy Living, Adair County Community Health Coalition, Healthy Oklahoma Nutrition Alliance, and Cherokee Nation Public Health.
Parents of junior high students, we have added an extra football game. The 7th grade will play at 5:30 on August 29th at Locust Grove followed immediately by the 8th grade. This game is in addition to the game already scheduled against Locust Grove at home on September 12th.

Extended Day starts Monday, August 15. Extended Day is offered for students in grades PK - 6.
Morning Extended Day students can be dropped off beginning at 6:20, Monday through Friday. Parents must walk students into the elementary library and sign them in.
Afternoon Extended Day will be from 3:30 - 5:30, Monday through Thursday. Students will be offered enrichment activities, homework assistance, tutoring and more!

The Medical Forms will still need to be Notarized and Notaries are available at each office. Parents of 7th grade students, we would like to invite you and your child to our 7th grade welcome at 4:30 in the high school auditorium Tuesday, August 9th during Meet the Teacher. Information will be provided that will make your child’s transition to junior high easier. There will also be door prizes for attending. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Elementary beginning of year updates: The Elementary Entrance has moved to the stairs down at the Walker Area on Collyge street, this will be the entrance for all visitors. Students will not be allowed in the building until 8:00am and the bell schedule has changed this year to the following. The first bell will ring in the morning at 8:25 and the tardy bell will ring at 8:30. Pre-k -2nd grade will start dismissing at 3:10, 1st-4th grades will dismiss at 3:15, and the bell will ring for 5th/6th grades at 3:20.

Just a quick reminder, if your child is coming into 7th grade this year the state requires them to have the TDAP vaccine or a signed exemption form on file with our nurse. Please make sure they are up-to-date on their shots before beginning school this year. Thank you.
New Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year has begun. Stop by the Registrar's office to see Linda Scott, summer hours are Monday-Thursday from 8-2.
We regret to inform you, that due to instructor illness, today’s (Thursday) final classroom session of summer Driver Education has been PPD until tomorrow (Friday, May 27th). We will start at 9:00 A.M. and go until 4:00 P.M. If the schedule change presents an issue for any student, they may email Coach Rector at brector@westville.k12.ok.us to resolve any potential issues.

Baccalaureate is tonight at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. Seniors need to meet in the library at 6:30. Wear your cap and gown.
JH & HS students will need to turn in their Chromebooks and Hotspots tomorrow. All elementary students need to hand in their devices to their teacher tomorrow or Wednesday.
1st-4th Grade Field Day will be on, May 17th at 10am, on the Practice Field behind the Gym. Parents if you are planning to attend, please bring your lawn chairs.
Reminder Westville students grade 7-12 will be in Distance Learning tomorrow, Friday, May 13.
