Some of our Unified students, including a few who are part of this year’s Homecoming Court and escorts, visited the Pre-K classes yesterday to read about the importance of kindness. 💜 Such a great way to spread positivity and Jacket Pride!

This week, we’re celebrating two incredible members of our Yellowjacket Family! 💛🐝🖤
✨ High School/Middle School Spotlight: Jenna Sitsler
Jenna is celebrating her 4th year at Westville, and her 1st year as our Social Work Director! She also serves as the Attendance Program Director and 4-H Leader. Her favorite part of the job is being able to do what she loves every day and call it work!
Jenna has lived in Westville for 17 years. She and her family are proud to be part of this community. Fun fact: even though she pours so much into people, Jenna considers herself an introvert and a bit of a loner.
🎶 Elementary Spotlight: Bret Barton
Bret is in his 3rd year at Westville and his first year as an administrator after teaching for 12 years! He and his family are proud Yellowjackets and love being part of the Westville community.
When he’s not at school, Bret stays busy working on his farm with chickens, cattle, and even corgis! 🐓🐄🐶 His advice to his younger self? “Don’t worry so much—things always work out for the greater good!”
We are so thankful for Jenna and Bret and the heart they put into our students, our school, and our community!

The Purple House of Potentia threw a celebration for all of middle school and high school to kick off Homecoming week with a BANG!! Drink stations, a dodgeball tournament, and a house rally made for a fun and exciting start to a week full of Jacket Pride!
Congratulations to the Purple House high school team and Black House middle school team for winning the championship!! 💜🖤
