Today during lunch, our amazing YAHL (Youth Action for Health Leadership) students hosted a Swap Up Day, handing out samples of healthy snacks! 🙌
These nutritious swaps can help teens:
✔️ Perform their best in sports and physical activities
✔️ Stay focused in school
✔️ Support their mental health

Freshmen Focus Day at Westville High! 🎉🧠👩🔧🍳
Today, our Freshmen are getting hands-on with a variety of fun and practical sessions designed to build life skills, creativity, and teamwork! Their rotation includes:

Focus Days give our students the chance to learn outside the traditional classroom—developing useful skills, giving back, and having a little fun along the way. We love seeing them explore, create, and connect!

Focus Days at Westville High 💡📚
Focus Days give our students the chance to take a pause from their regular schedule and dive into real-world learning and preparation for the future.
Today, our Juniors are taking the ACT, while our Seniors are rotating through a variety of valuable sessions including:
✔️ Self Defense
✔️ What is Credit? How to Get a Loan?
✔️ Renting/Buying a Home
✔️ Budgeting
✔️ Interview Skills
✔️ Taxes
To top it off, there's even a special rotation where students and teachers can relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, and treat themselves to something sweet! ☕🍪
We're so thankful to the local professionals and businesses who made today possible. These experiences not only teach life skills—they also help students explore future career paths and build strong community connections. 💛🖤
Junior High Track Meet Info – Tuesday & Wednesday
Tuesday: JH Track Meet at Stilwell – starts at 9:00 AM
Wednesday: JH Track Meet at Maryetta – starts at 9:00 AM (Makeup from last Friday)
Bus will leave at 8:10 AM both days.
Students may ride the bus to school, if needed, since it is virtual days.
Juniors please be at school tomorrow to take the ACT and please make sure to charge your Chromebooks and bring your chargers tomorrow! You are going to rock this thing!!
Baseball Update ⚾️
The JH baseball game against Briggs scheduled for today has been canceled and may be rescheduled later.
The HS baseball games vs. Cascia Hall scheduled for today and tomorrow have also been canceled and will be rescheduled.

Reading is essential to education, and we are fortunate to have such dedicated librarians making a difference every day! 💜

🌟 Weekly Staff Spotlight: Katelynn Stricklen 🌟
This is Katelynn's first year serving as the Lower Elementary Secretary! She loves working with her bestie, giving back to the school that poured so much into her, and seeing all the kiddos learning and having fun!
💬 One thing she wishes she could tell herself when she first started?
"Keep plenty of snacks in your desk for Maverick when he comes to your office!"
Katelynn loves going to church, watching her boys play sports, going to the lake, and spending time with her family. She and her husband both grew up in Westville and now their two boys walk the same halls they once did—something she thinks is so special!
She is incredibly grateful to work at a school that puts family first! ❤️🏫
